This is a short film I shot & edited for a Manhattan-based hair stylist who wanted make a soft-selling, deeply emotive promo. It echoes Wong Kar Wai and a fashion or perfume spot. We shot this in his office-salon with 2 models. I was trying to bottle texture, mood, and light. My paintbrush was the DVX100 with a Letus 35mm adapter and an old Nikon still lens. Cut on FCP and using Soundtrack Pro for the score.
